- Dear vendor
-
- GENERAL
- =======
- This is version 2.0 of HUGO III, JUNGLE OF DOOM!
- It requires a hard disk (about 1Mb), 400k ram and EGA or VGA graphics.
- The distribution requires two 360k disks or one 720k disk. (See later).
-
- This contains a major policy change toward RETAIL RACK VENDORS plus some
- minor improvements to the documentation, including some more hints.
- The new policy should not affect BBS/Mail Order distribution but please
- update your library as soon as possible.

- RACK VENDOR POLICY
- ==================
- Distribution of this product via RETAIL RACK is PROHIBITED except by
- individual agreements between the vendor and David P Gray. Such an
- agreement requires that I see a sample of your packaging first, and
- that you agree to make copies only of a branded, master version which
- is obtained directly from me. The branding will consist of your retail
- name appearing in the opening screen and/or the exit screen.

- DESCRIPTION
- ===========
- HUGO III, JUNGLE OF DOOM! is the final episode in the hugely
- popular trilogy of colorful 3-D animated EGA adventure games.
- It features spectacular full screen graphics, a new "turbo" button
- and built-in hints. Will HUGO outwit the evil Witch Doctor, find
- the mysterious Pool of Life and finally beat his arch-enemy the old
- man? You bet, and much more besides! Req. EGA or VGA, 400k ram,
- 1Mb hard disk.
-
-
- DEMO.BAT
- ========
- For your benefit we have added a DEMO.BAT batch file which may be handy for
- demonstrating this program at shows. HUGO will run through the automatic
- part of the story at the beginning of the game, repeating forever. You can
- invoke it without sound if you wish. Don't put DEMO.BAT on the user's disk.
-
-
-
- SPLIT DISKS
- ===========
- The bad news is that HUGO III is so big you'll have to put it on two disks.
-
- Your DISK one should contain:
- H3_PART1.EXE
-
- Your DISK two should contain:
- H3_PART2.EXE
-
- Unpacking consists of setting the correct destination drive and directory
- and running both self-extracting archives (in either order).
- Thank you in advance for your assistance,
-
- David P Gray.
